Values and mindset after injury and illness - Emma Wiggs

Published on: 12th February, 2021

Some great thoughts to ponder on in this episode with GB Paralympic gold medal winner Emma Wiggs.

For starters, we talk about the resignation of the head of the Tokyo Olympics Organising Committee, Yoshiro Mori, for making inappropriate remarks about women. We move on to discus the role of the Paralympics in breaking down barriers.

And there's Emma's journey to Tokyo - which took a big bump with a wrist injury in the gym. It was potentially career ending and Emma struggled with her mental and physical health.

Thanks to Emma for a great chat. You can follow her on social media @emwiggsy
