Claire was motivated by a lack of representation of people with a disability in children's books and the media. Urged on by her sister, she wrote a book which tells the story of her young fear of water and swimming - a fear that was conquered and saw Claire on to win a sackful of international medals, including Paralympic gold.
Claire switched sports to para-triathlon after Rio and she's hoping to be in Tokyo this summer.
